and went for a drive through Hyde Park, down Rottenrow and past Buckingham Palace where the King lives.

The English Parks are extremely nice for the children, who are allowed freedom to play where they will on the grass. Sheep are grazing here and there and it seems to be more like country fields.

In the evening we went to Gianellie to have dinner. The little Italian restaurant has become a special favorite of ours and we find ourselves going there when ever we get a chance. We always have the same pleasant little waiter, who has learnt to expect us and greets us with a bow and a good evening Madame and Monsieur. We enjoy the excellent cooking and particularly the quiet air of the place.

Later we went to see, When knights were bold, which was a very clever play and made us laugh till our mouths ached.
