We found diversion that night by going to the theatre and saw a play called Diana of Dobson's which brought out the difference between the English rich and poor in an interesting manner.

Glasgow is a disinal city and the poor are seen in great numbers on the streets 

We had been prepared to like the Cathedral and were disappointed this morning in its morbid interior and the ghastly sight of the cemetery on the hill in the background.

We went out in the evening to have dinner at the first place that took our eye or to try and find a second Tianellies. Seeing a little Continental restaurant we stopped there, then for a further diversion went across the pavilion where we stayed only a short time.
