ate so much that as soon as dinner was finished we went upstairs and they laid down on two window seats and I took a robe and a pillow and laid down on the floor. We all fell asleep and didn't wake till about ten o'clock. Don't you think that was awful but then Thanksgiving only comes once a year and anyone privileged to eat as much as they can hold on that day. I suppose you had a regular Thanksgiving dinner too.

Good night sweetheart. Sleep well and look out for the Northern next time.

You know I often think of those beautiful walks you took me on when I used to go out to the lake. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed them. I can remember every one and just what we did and where we went. One of the nicest drives we took on the day we went into the old deserted home. Remember I tied the horse to the fence and we went into the yard. And you picked some of the old fashioned white roses, That was a fine afternoon. That was not so very long ago but doesn't it seem a long while ago to you. It seems to me to be about a year ago and I miss you more and more.

The man wants me to go out to the Rocky Mountains with him next summer and another wants me to go to Arizona. When they ask me why I cant,
