I wonder if you do much reading down there. I was thinking to-night that outside of a few of Emerson's Essays I have read nothing in about two months. If there is ever a book you want particularly and I can get it for you I wish you would let me know, because I am right here in New York where you can get most every thing of the kind. I want to get that book that you have been reading call Right & Wrong Thinking. It sounds very good and I will get it tomorrow at Brentano's; then we can talk it over when we see each other.

I think you must be looking fine these days after nearly two months on a ranch and what a lot of good it will do you. You will probably be able to take a hold of me and throw me about five feet. We'll have a

as possible.

I think Ill start to think about the plans for our house because time has a way of slipping around and so its best to hurry up a little. Just think to live together how happy we'll be. I just love to look forward to it and think about and its in my mind just about all the time.

I have been invited up to Briarcliff for over New Years like last year but I don't think I'll go. If I go away at all in the holidays it will be to Newburgh for a few days. I suppose you will have a big Christmas tree down on the ranch, and youll all have a great time. I don't know whether we'll have one or not as the children are not coming on this year and so I hardly think so.
