things come up all the time that it is hard to plan very far ahead but don't think for one moment that I am not just crazy to see you again and am looking forward to it so much.

Darling I know it is much easier for me to mail letters than it is for you and I am not going to say another word about writing letters. You write whenever it pleases you. I know you have many to write and it must be hard to correspond with all your friends.

With all my love

Dearest Girl,

I have had a lovely Christmas and you have had so much to do with it. I got your two lovely presents and a lot of letters and it made me perfectly happy and I love you and love you. Do you know whenever any of my friends speak of girls they know and tell of their good qualities I always think of you and sometimes say that I know a girl that does this and that and always have you in mind. I think I am more lucky than anybody
