Dearest Girl

That was such a nice letter I received from you yesterday. I think it is the nicest one I've had and I could just tell that you loved me when I read it. I think what you said about simple living is the secret of the whole thing after all and produces more happiness than anything else. I am glad we agree about that. I always have liked your views about life and things anyway and besides all that I love love love you.

I went in the Manhattan Hotel yesterday and ran across that awful Camprubi man. I couldn't escape. When he spoke about Zenobia I wondered if you

strong physically so much as strong ideas and emotions Although the physical side counts too. What I love about you is the fact that you feel things in a very strong way and I could never understand why people thought you cold when you are just exactly the opposite.

I often think what will be the first thing I will say when I see you the next time. I haven't seen you in so long that I will probably be very much embarrassed for a moment.

I love you more and more all the time

Lovingly Gifford
