that you had remembered my birthday. You are so thoughtful and I love you so much dear.
Before I go to Texas your mother said she was going to write to your uncle about my coming to see you so that she could get an answer back in time. I do hope he'll like me and that it will be agreeable to him and his family to have me visit, tell him I won't be the least bit of trouble and that I simply have to come to see you. What do you think the children will think of me. I am always afraid of children. They are so keen about people and take such strong likes and dislikes. I was so glad when I found that Homer liked me because I don't think he likes everybody. I really tried.

about it after.

Just think I will see you again in about a month, I can hardly realize It seems to good to be true. How happy I will be when I do see you and what fun we will have together. I will just love it. Your mother thought it best not to tell the rest of your family until you get home in the spring and I think its a good idea. Then you can tell them yourself we talked it over quite a lot and thats what your mother concluded.

Good Night
Darling
With every bit of love
Gifford
