It is mutually agreed by the artist ____________ and the Betty Parsons Gallery, as the dealer, that the artist will be associated with the gallery exclusively under the following conditions: 1. If the artist recieves any substantial money guarantee from any other dealer, he shall give first option to the Betty Parsons Gallery before he shall be free to accept the guarantee. 2. If no guarantee takes place, the Betty Parsons Gallery will be the exclusive dealer of the artist.     It is mutually agreed that the dealer is entitled to 1/3 of the selling price on all pictures and commercial assignments. On any sales of pictures made by the artist in his studio to clients outside the gallery's clientele, the dealer is entitled to a 15% commission. The Betty Parsons Gallery will be responsible for the promotion of the artist and the artist's gallery expenses; i.e. advertising, catalogues, photographs, etc. In consideration of the above, and in order to make this promotion possible, the Betty Parsons Gallery must be assured that the artist will be a member of the gallery until Jan. 1st, 1952, with the exception of the conditions mentioned above. The artist must have the written permission of the dealer before showing in any other exhibition outside the gallery.

This contract will be binding as of today
