27. MASK. Bronze. Small head with closed eyes and turned down mouth. Incised on reverse with numerals. Black patina. Height: 4 1/4 inches (11 cm.)

Note: This bronze, one of an edition of seven (of which two have been retained by the Pollock family), was cast posthumously from the original stone head sculpted by Jackson Pollock in 1933, and given by the artist to his brother Sanford McCoy.

No castings other than these seven have been authorized by the artist's family.
