SURROGATE'S COURT, NEW YORK COUNTY.
In the Matter of the Probate of
the alleged Last Will and Testament of
HENRY W. RANGER,
Deceased

The answer of Edith F. Ranger, a sister and one of the next of kin of the above named decedent, by JAMES C. McEACHEN, her attorney, respectfully shows to this Court:

[[left margin]] Fol.2 [[/left margin]] FIRST: That she is a sister and one of the next of kin of HENRY W. RANGER, deceased.

SECOND: That the instrument in writing bearing date the 21st day of January, 1914, and purporting to have been executed on that day, is not the Last Will and Testament of said decedent.

THIRD: That said alleged Last Will was not duly executed by said deceased in the manner and in the form 
[[left margin]] Fol.3 [[/left margin]] provided by law, and in conformity with the provisions of law, in such case made and provided.

FOURTH: That on the said 21st day of January, 1914, said deceased was not of sound mind or memory, not mentally capable of making a Will, nor had he testamentary capacity.

FIGTH: That the said instrument was not freely or voluntarily made by said Henry W. Ranger, deceased, as 
[[lest margin]] Fol.4 [[/left margin]] his Last Will and Testament, but that said Paper writing purporting to be his Will, was obtained, and the subscription and publication thereof, if it was in fact subscribed or published by him, was procured by fraud, by some person or persone, whose name or names are at present unknown to this contestant, and said alleged Will was not the free,
