The undersigned, the National Academy of Design, sole residuary legatee and beneficiary under the Last Will and Testament of Henry W. Ranger, following the death of said decedent's wife, Helen Eudora Ranger, named in said Will as life beneficiary, does hereby authorize
   
Counsellor-at-Law, to appear and act for it in the above-entitled proceeding and to protect its interests in the premises.
