business matters and weighed all questions carefully that ought to be considered.

Mr. Ranger's wife, Helen Eudora Ranger, died in Europe in 1915, I should think probably in the month of May or early in June. I have not the data to give the exact date Mrs. Ranger had been married before and had a grown son by the previous marriage who was living in Europe, and it is my understanding that she went over there to be with her son and sister. She was very fond of this sister, and it was while she was abroad that she died. Mr. Henry W. Ranger was never married but once and there were no children by that marriage.

I do not know of the existence of any will of Mr. Henry W. Ranger made since the one now offered for probate dated Jan 21, 1914. Mr. Ranger never stated to me that he had made any will since said date.

Mr. Ranger's most intimate friends in Syracuse besides myself were Justice Leonard C. Crouch, Mr. George H. Clark and Mr. Fernando A. Carter.
