thought that the cause was gas. I put out a fire during the blitz but I never saw any thing go as quickly as this one. We had five fire escape & salvage men & umpteen fireman & they worked wonderfully together it was like music with the note of the fire devil predominately then yig.
Now I'm feeling the reaction. I can do wonder at the time
