I hope the book arrived & that you find it as remarkable as I did. I now owe you 25/- from the cheque. Expect you are thinking of holidays & going to Saks. Happy Xmas to you all.  Mrs Cuesta here came out of hospital last week. It seems to me that these trials are sent for us to learn something from them but it hardly ever follows. Even a sausage passes through the hell of this & that to come out a sausage with a skin on - but humans - ? well in any case it leaves me freer. 

I wonder if you remember Alfred Hunt
