Fowler has just sent me a beautiful travelling bag for my trip to America which she finds most exciting.  A Christmas box.  It makes me feel half way across the Atlantic. 

It's fantastic for someone as broke as me to have this wonderful offer. It has encouraged me no end.  The snow has passed but so cold yet weather man says much colder weather to come, I cannot bear to think of all the little things out in it.
