so many events of interest, that she seems more like a grown up Companion than a
child.   Her adorable affectionate nature,
always ready to hug me or give a little caress of some sort, makes me tremble for fear she might marry some brute who would not appreciate her true nature.   Her religion will help her though.   I don't mean that she is a saint by any means for she can fight to a finish almost any child in the neighborhood & does it when she doesn't get fair play. but it takes very little to lead her to letting her higher self rule her. 

I seem to be rambling along here on Emilys charms as though we were not asked to economize on paper. & you had nothing else to do but read my ravings. & anyone would think Jane was not appreciated. Jane has her fine points too but Jane is absorbed with horse back riding, outdoor sports, & a bunch of friends having a wild time that she isn't with me as much as Emily but she too likes to do things about the house to ease up the work for me, & is always so willing to run & do errands for me, & the way she enjoys seeing me dress properly & get things for myself makes her just as much a
