Emma darling-  I had hoped I would have this afternoon entirely to myself in which I read study clip out articles etc. and write to you; but just as I was preparing Bennetts lunch, Mrs. Daniel, (Mrs Garcia's friend) called and said they were down here with her Father and an English friend to see the Fair and wanted to come to call and then  see the Air Station, so I will be unable to settle down to a quiet afternoon of reading - however I do want to scribble off a few lines to you.

Mr. Iredell came by the day before yesterday again and did more things to the drawing which everyone agrees has improved it.  We haven't had time to have it rephotographed but as soon as we do I'll send you another miniature in a little silver frame I bought for you. If it had not been for your patience in helping Iredell I know we wouldn't have any kind of a drawing and I am most grateful.

I had a very interesting talk with Mr. Mulhall the other day and I want you to get some of the thoughts he expressed so I will try to express them over again.
