I received your dear telegram giving me Daisy Schoolfields address just as we were leaving the ship. We had made our plans to come here via Charleston so will stop there on our way back to Norfolk. We now plan to be in Danville Friday afternoon and at the Atlantic Hotel again, Norfolk, Saturday, the twenty-second.

As I wired you we went to this Hotel as we didn't want to impose on Alice Townsend but yesterday she insisted that we move and come over and occupy one of her guest houses so here I am again dearest Mummy right back in the same little valley that I loved so much. Alice Townsend is one of the most thoughtful sweetest persons that I have ever known. This invitation to occupy her guest house was a gift from heaven and an answer to prayers for the Hotel was $8 a day. We plan to stay here until next Wednesday so if you want
