Emmie dearest - your wonderful letter written Monday, I guess, came this morning and it is needless for me to say how interested I was to hear how you found the clip. I knew you would find it, but I am sorry that you suffered so very much those first few days. If my letters and phone call helped I am so glad, for my thoughts are with you so constantly and if it hadn't have been such a trip I'd have flown to you had I feel I could be of any great help. 

I hope now that all the erroneous suggestions that have been voiced about you such as carelessness etc have been destroyed through this demonstration for you must destroy them for they are a subtle force of fraudulent criminals
