Emmie dear - Thank you so much for the nice letter which I received this morning. I know how busy you've been but I do so love your letters and I've missed them.

Did you ever receive the silly poems I sent to [[Wimpy?]] and "Tika"?

The bills which I enclosed in a previous letter regarding the blankets meant nothing only showed the cost of the last batch for the customs. It has all been paid and you owe nothing more.

I thought about you so much yesterday and all evening, when I knew your party was "underway" and I feel sure it was a huge success and that you and all your guests had a grand time.

It has been quite hot the last few days - but I've felt much worse - can't remember now just where, but I don't consider 96° too awful. Our apartment is always cool and this hospital isn't bad so I am really not minding it.

I'm glad you feel you have gotten something out of that book on Interior Decoration. I thought that it was very clear simple and really explained
