Today brings it with more brides and bridegrooms than any other day of this, the first, week of the Easter season.

One of the numerous weddings is that of Miss Emily Hall to Baron Maximilian Hugo Converse Wilhelm von Romberg of Wiesbaden, Germany, in the Church of the Transfiguration. The ceremony is followed by a small reception at Sherry's.

Her other attendants are Mrs. George B. Converse of Santa Barbara and Miss Huguette Clark, daughter of the late Senator William A. Clark of this city and California. Alban Miley of Santa Barbara is best man for Baron von Romberg. There are two ushers, Beaucham Smith and Burwell Smith.

Today's bride is a granddaughter of the late Stephen Morgan Smith of York, Pa., inventor and manufacturer.

Baron von Romberg is a son of the late Capt. Baron Maximilian von Romberg of the Eightieth Prussian Fusiliers and the present Mrs. Richard Wayne of Nice, France. Through his mother he is a grandson of the late Edmund C. Converse, financier, and a great-grandson of the late James C. Converse of Boston, first President of the National Tube Company. His paternal grandfather was the late Gen. Freiherr Wilhelm von Romberg, who served with distinction in the Franco-Prussian war.
