Dear Sir I Should Bee glad to get in some kind of business and would be glad you would like give mee a situation as post Master or to attend to the freedman beaurau I was a union Man had to Leave My State on the Account of my principals I have Lost All of My Negroes and had to Sell My Land and every thing at a Sacrifice to live on I am a Democrat of the old School Was A Jackson Man I am Now Sixty one years old Last April have A family to Suport and Not Able to Work Mutch of you Can help Mee I Should bee under Many obligations to you Do help Mee if you Can for God Sake I Remain your Humble Servant
