Willimantic Conn March 6th, 1866 Maj Genl O. O. Howard General I have the honor to make application for duty in the Bureau of Freedman Refugees &c. I would respectfully request to be ordered to Georgia under the command of Genl Tillinson or Genl J. A. Hall at Savannah, Ga. I was relieved from duty by S.O. No. 165. Series 65 A.G.O. and ordered to my respective place of residence where I am still awaiting orders. Genl J. A.
