Before me personally appeared the undersigned Orvie E Waters who being duly sworn deposes as follows.

My name is Orvie E. Waters - I reside at the "Teachers Home" on Orleans Street South of Vance - I am Supt of Freedman's School's in Memphis and Agent American Freedmans aid Commission here in charge of all the colored School houses in Memphis under the control of the Bureau Refugees Freedman and abandoned Lands for the Sub-destrict Memphis  They were as follows, belonging to U.S. Government one  building at South and Echols worth $2500 and one at [[strikethrough]]north east [[/strikethrough]]Cor of Main and Vance worth $2500.00 one at North East Corner of Lauderdale and Vance worth $2500. and One Corner Hernando and Pontotoc Streets worth $2500.

One corner Peale and. Wellington worth $2500. and one used as a Store house corner Lauderdale and Vance Worth $8800.  The Stores in one part of the building belonged to the Goverment and consisted of Hospital Supplies Worth $2195. and those belonging to the Western Aid Society in Same building were worth 4,597.35/100
