Asylum for the Insane
Concord N.H. July 18th 1866

Major Gen. Howard:

In consequence of the passage of the Freedmen's Bureau Bill, I beg to repeat my application for an agency, or employment in any manner agreeable to you, made at the time of the former attempt to pass the same. I will furnish at any time, sufficient evidence of character and ability - from such men as Col Harriman Secty of State, Col Tappan, Hon. J.N. Patterson, Judge Cross of Manchester, Dr. J.P. Bancroft Supt. of the N.H.  Asylum for the Insane, with whom I am now connected
