Before me personally appeared the undersigned Albert Watson and being duly sworn deposes as follows.

My name is Albert Watson, I live in the City of Memphis Tenn. On the night of the 2nd day of May 1866, a party of white men came to my house and robbed me of $120.00 in money, watch worth $15.00 and clothing to the amount of $75.00  I jumped out at the window when I heard them trying to break open the door and made my escape.
