Before me personally appeared the undersigned and being duly sworn testifies as follows. My name Isaac Gipson. I live in South St. in the City of Memphis Tenn. On the 2nd of May 1866, during the riot in the City of Memphis, four men came to my house, and robbed me of $180.00 in Greenbacks, and two silver watches; also broke a violin & case to pieces worth $100.00 have been offered that for it several times. Would know two of the men if I were to see them, they drew a Revolver on me & threatened to kill me after robbing me.
