Before me personally appeared the undersigned Ned Young and being duly sworn testifies as follows My Name is Ned Young I live in the City of Memphis Tenn, on the night of the 2" day of May 1866 a party of Men Came to my house two [[strikethrough]] poli [[/strikethrough]] were policemen and demanded entrance said they would kill me if I did not let them in, when they got in they put their pistols to my head and demanded my money - I tried to beg off, but they would not let me talk, they broke open my trunk took out of it $275.00 in money $100.00 worth of clothes also Bed clothes one Bkt Flour and some meat woth $50.00 and a pair of Boots worth $10.00 the policeman appeared to be the leading man.
