He was assigned to duty in Freedmen's Bureau, also advise him to return the amount fraudulently overdrawn and inform him that his pay has ben stopped until the same is satisfactorily accounted for. papers to be returned action noted. | March 8" 1866. Burt Apl 7" 1863. & on the day which it is alleged he again drew the same pay, he was in command of Co F 94" N.Y. Vol. 1" A.C. 2" Div 2" Brig. and that he was on the march from Franklin crossing Rappahannock River to extreme right of the army at Chancellorsville. Va. 105" was consolidated with 94" N.Y. Mch 9 1863. Refers to Major T.W. Burt for truth of this statement. Is unacquainted with Major Lee. never paid him. requests a full and severe examination of the charge.
