Deposition of Henry Christie On Sunday the 3d day of June 1866 about noon I saw the negro Bryant Langston under the Rail Road sheds in company with several others, the only one I knew beside him was Jim Jones. Bryant said to Jim Jones "before that man shall go in jail tomorrow I lose the last drop of blood I got" and Jim Jones said "I don't know what I'll do but if they pitch in they'll find out" I then walked off toward Griswold's Hotel. I Henry Christie do solemnly swear that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. Henry his X mark Christie Sworn and subscribed to before me this the 20th day of June 1866 Jas. W.H. Stickney Major V.R.C. and Asst. Supt.
