Miss Elisabeth McCausland (Critic.)

Dear Miss

Just now Miss Abbott my friend, showed me your generous article anent my ptgs. at Berkshire Museum. I must say, you fathomed my emotional nature correctly. Am pleased to note some critic understand my complex make-up (mental). Yes, I have always loved the scenery in our own country and started the drawing of it at 16 years (1882) at Cornell. Adirondacks was my favorite for 4 summers, etc.

(over please)

Transcription Notes:
unsure of the word between "emotional" & "correctly" looks like nature to me
