March 22-77

Dear Jane & Hal,
How sorry we were not to see you! I can't say that you missed much in Sarasota - it was a very odd winter. I've never seen so much fog, day after day. However by the middle of the day the sun usually won out over all. That usually made up for everything - even freezes.
My cataract operation was a great success. Everything went very well until I got home. The day after that I woke up not being able to see at all out of that eye. Upon examination it seemed to be a small burst blood vessel, which, given time would be absorbed back into the eye - But the darned thing has disrupted my whole schedule
