Schools of Drama in Great Britain

1.  Voice production, Diction, Phonetics, Broad Casting
2.  Mime
3.  Rehearsal of plays under tuition
4.  Deportment, Dancing and Fencing, as required on the stage 
5.  Stage-management and Production, Scenic Design (optional)
6.  Lectures on English Poetics, History of the Drama, History of Theatrical Representation, French Dramatic Literature
7.  Acting in French for those who have sufficient knowledge of the language
Course of study in six terms. There are three terms, each lasting 11 weeks, beginning January, May and October approximately. Students may enter at the beginning of any term, provided they pass the Entrance Test. Information about auditions in New York may be obtained from Leo. G. Training for the Stage - in all aspects, such as Improvisational Acting and Rehearsal Classes, Production and Stage-management, Stage Lighting, Make-up, Mime, Dancing, Voice Production, Diction, Phonetics and the study of dialects, History of Theatrical Art and Costume, History of Drama, English Poetry and Microphone Technique.
Training for Teachers of Speech Training and Dramatic Art
Training for Speech Therapists
One-year Course for Registered Teachers
The courses last three years. Students must begin in the Fall. It has been indicated that Miss Priscilla Eaves, 1391 Madison Avenue, New York 29, New York, will hold a test in March or April of 1950 for the candidates. Stage test will be held in England during the latter part of July, 1950. In addition,  students must make application directly to the school.
