Also this year I will be represented at the Dokumenta show at Kassel. I will have a large room to myself. The directors that visited me were J. Leering of the van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven of the Netherlands and Hein Stunke from Cologne. They are going to exhibit four of my latest works and drawings, they are also considering the large work "The Gates". (of course there are some problems there concerning transportation) and what they are mostly interested in is that they will pay my fare to go in February after the opening day of my show at Pace gallery and construct there are very large light sculpture - and remain there until the opening day of the show which is the 27th of June. Of course there are many difficulties involved such as the possibility that I will have to bring the material from here and again the transportation expenses that I don't think they will be able to cover.

My kitchen has turned into an office, I have no longer a bedroom, my bed and my floor are covered withvvarious papers, paper notes and typed notes and a tape recorder all part of the writings and preparations of my lecture at New York University on January 10th, at the School of Continuous Education. So far I have about twenty typed pages and I truly find it very hard” digging within myself, and coming [[strikethrough]] out of the [[/strikethrough]] from the deepest areas involved with the creative process and the roots of [[strikethrough]] inspe [[/strikethrough]] inspiration, the new media etc. All this searchwithin myself is exhausting....like self analysis. Enough of my complaints.

I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, SOMEHOW I FEEL THAT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO ME COMES FROM YOUR CONTINUED INTEREST! .....OKAY! I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP YET!....HAVE THE HAPPIEST NEW YEAR!
ALL JOY TO YOU!

All my love again Chryssa.

Transcription Notes:
there is a ditto mark after "I truly find it very hard" in the second paragraph I wasn't sure what it was referring to though
