Dear Miss Sanford:

How very kind of you to write me that you liked my show at the NAC. Yes I think aluminum has great advantages in its light weight, especially if one ships work as in a traveling show. 26 of these pieces have been traveling all over the states (even to Alaska) ever since 1938 and only three pieces damaged during that time.

It seems as if you were making a very wise decision to leave NYC for the country, both my husband and I have found much more peace and quiet for work, especially if one does not get drawn into local social activities. I see you are way in the north-west section but may be you will be coming south someday along route 7 to Danbury and drop in to see us.

My husband's rheumatism is certainly bad, he distrusts doctors too and is careful about his diet but his age of 82 is against him. Diet in a young person can help a lot but I fear it would not have the same benefit at his age. However we will look into this treatment and thank you for your interest.

With all best wishes

Sincerely
^[[A H. Huntington]]
