Lorser Feitelson
BIOGRAPHY

Lorser Feitelson, KRCA's artist on tv, was born in Savannah, Georgia and moved to New York City at an early age.

As Mr.Feitelson recalls now his earliest memories concerned art and as soon as he was able to, he joined the Art Students League in New York studying sculpture, painting and composition.

Typical of the young artist he has his own studio in Greenwich Village.

In 1919 Mr. Feitelson went to Paris where he studied, painted and exhibited until 1927. After leaving Europe he came directly to Southern California and settled in Los Angeles.

Although he has stayed in this area since then, his paintings have been exhibited at such outstanding centers of art as the Daniel Gallery and Whitney Museum in New York, Brooklyn Museum, San Francisco Museum and numerous showings at the Los Angeles Museum.
