to damage the skin when it touched it, which it did often! East had been on 8 weeks and I was disappointed to find he foot still swollen and sore from the injury. Doctor said I would be able to walk in 3 to 6 weeks, which horrified me since I thought I'd be walking in a week or so. I find getting around on crutches and hampered by bulky winter clothes exhausting and rather dangerous. Months ago I yielded to the requests of an old friend, Liz Lambie, to go on a 2 week cruise of Greek Isles and Turkey's Coast and that will mean starting April 1. Well we'll see, it is too late to turn back on the cruise as we've put down our money. This is my 4th week back at work but I am certaihly not getting much done, just pushing the-massive piles of papers around, Well this is the news of me with the addition of my having lost my faithful maid today on whom I have been depending for shopping and everything-- You can't carry a bundle or anything on crutches!
Endless love to you two. xxx Love-Dorothy
