Dorothy dear -

Yes, we did receive a most interesting book - a Met publication - on Stefano Della Bella - during Christmas week, and were puzzled as it was anonymous - no name of sender! In fact, Lorser wondered if he could have ordered it and forgotten as it is right down his alley. Many, many THANKS - it is a beautiful book and Lorser is delighted to add it to his library.

Glad to hear you received the catalogue, tho I'm disappointed in the color plates. I saw the color-separations before printing and had misgivings, but it was too near deadline to make a fuss. You may be amused to note that one of Henry's quotes is taken bodily from the MOMA "Americans '42" catalogue. Unfortunately, he used it without reference to its source , as if it were something I said yesterday. One more bit of misinformation in the world.

As to our serigraphs: we haven't really done anything yet about "marketing", tho some have been acquired here, and no one in New York has any. Of course we would be delighted to sell them in New York if we knew where or how. We'll appreciate any ideas you may have on that subject. Our editions are small - 25 or 30 - 40 at most.

We are looking forward eagerly to "all the news" about you - do write soon. Much love from both of us,

Helen -
