"CONCEPT OF FORM" SERIES

FEITELSON ON ART : NEW SERIES
"THE HUMAN FIGURE IN ART"

The new series will be devoted to a visual exposition of the human form in it most significant art interpretations, from the most familiar and classical concepts to the most recent provocative and controversial manifestations.

Analyses and comparisons will be presented from the following three points of view:
1- the actual context in which the work was created; the ideas of the artist and his time.
2- the historical point of view, which helps explain the sources preceding the work of art, and the work's effect and influence on later art developments.
3- the work seen in terms of our own contemporary values.
