Feitelson on Art: March 25 broadcast Modigliani

Announcer:
Modigliani is one of the most important figures in the so-called "School of Paris". This gifted artist, born in Leghorn, Italy, spent most of his creative life in Paris; dissipated, impoverished, and exhausted, he died in 1920 at the age of 35. Today Lorser Feitelson will critically discuss his works.
This program is presented in conjunction with the important Modigliani exhibition opening next week at the Los Angeles County Museum. Our guest is Frederick S. Wight, Director of the Art Galleries at the University of California, Los Angeles.
