Dear John,
Tom and Rita were up this week-end and we had quite a pow-wow. We wished many times that you and your wife could have been here to make the scene complete.
I recently got a proposed dealer-artist contract from Walker and I am enclosing a copy of this tentative proposition for you to read.
I am very anxious to see you soon. We must get together in Madison or Iowa City, one or the other. In the meantime, should Walker submit a contract to you, would suggest that you don't do anything about it until we have a chance to get together and compare notes.
Sara is improving and sends you both her best.
Grant Wood
