THE DOWNTOWN GALLERY
Edith Gregor Halpert, Director

Dear Bob:

I waited in for you the other day as you left word that you were returning. Foinet delivered all the material for Pippin and I have been holding it expecting a visit from you. Can you pick it up when you are next in town.

I am very curious about the Pippin situation. How come that there are no more pictures? He himself told me that he had started on a Love Note and you said that there were three in work. The show opened in February and this is May. Several people are waiting for the pictures and they will be going off on their vacations pretty soon.

Whatever happened about the Hicks? I have just got a beauty which you might like to see.

I hope you will be in soon as it would be very advantageous to Pippin to use these excellent paints. Meanwhile I am paying the bill amounting to $32.04 which can be deducted from the next payment.

Sincerely yours,

Edith Halpert
