Dear Bob:

As we are nearing the dead line for the Pepsi Cola show, I thought I would call your attention to the fact that we have not received a new Pippin. If it cannot be in our possession by Friday of this week, we had better put in "Milkman of Goshem", which would be a very suitable example. I have been saving this for our spring exhibition which opens late in April, but if you think that Pippin will complete a picture before then, I shall send on the "Milkman of Goshem" to Pepsi Cola and will show the new one in our Spring Exhibition. Please let me know at once.

I am glad that you are having some success with the Pascin show. Much as I would like to cooperate with you, I don't see how I can reduce the price of "Lazarus in the House of the Rich" to $300 net. We have had it listed at $750 in various exhibitions. As you know, it is an oil and considered one of the outstanding examples of that type. As a matter of fact there are many who consider these Pascin compostions [[compositions]] the most important of his work. However, just to be a good sport I will cut the price to $325 yet. You should urge the young collector to pay a good price as he is getting a top notch example by this top notch artist.

Sincerely yours

Edith Halpert
