Dear Bob:

Sorry to be so late in answering your letter, but I have been frightfully busy and have not had an opportunity before this.

The client who was interested in the Pippin was discouraged by the fact that he had to be kept waiting and no longer wants to consider this picture.

The paintings that we showed to Dr. Gold were obtained directly from O'Keeffe with whom I had an opportunity to discuss prices in great detail and got tremendous reductions. The pictures which were at the Museum of Modern Art are priced at much higher figures. There is a possibility that when the interest is pinned down to one or two paintings I can negotiate further with O'Keeffe regarding a slight reduction. Meanwhile I am giving you the prices as listed by her;
