A Freedman has been murdered at or near Bladensburg, Prince George County Md. by a Youth whose name is George Briddle who enlisted and served during the War in the Rebel services, he is at large, and there has been no effort made to arrest him by the Civil Authorities, he brags that he has Killed two Negroes since the War and is ready for the third.
Believing as I do that Freedman have rights which ought to be respected has prompted me to address you this note
