Shipley Camp Ground
August 24, 1866. 

At a meeting of the tent holders convened this day, Wm. H. Downs was chosen Chief manager and the following rules here adopted for the government of this encampment.  
1st- family prayer shall be held in each tent at 6 o'clock in the morning and evening of each day; at which time the  lines the trumpet will be sounded as a signal. 
2nd- Public prayer meeting will be held at the stand every morning at 9 o'clock; and the hours for preaching are 11 1/2 o'clock A.M. (Sabbath morning excepted, which will be at 11 o'clock) and 3 and 7 1/2 o'clock P.M. 
3rd- At the above hours the trumpet will be sounded from the stand, when the people except such as may be sick, or one to care of the tent shall come promptly into the Congregation. The ladies shall be seated on the left and the gentlemen on the right of the preachers stand.
4th- The woods on the right of the preachers stand are specially reserved for the walks of ladies. 
5th- No person will be allowed to fasten any horse where
