that it is pretty hard to give satisfaction to both parties as for my individual self it is not worth while to speak I think I told you something of the trials I have had to endure and I can only say that they are worse now than ever as I have been to Washington to present a claim. Of course I must be as mean as a Yankee that is the way they express it I really don't think I can live here & have some thoughts of going to Washington perhaps I could support my family by keeping a boarding house a very unpleasant business but the only resort for a lady. I have never heard any thing farther from Genl Tillson in regard to a place for my son I suppose there was no vacancy with many wishes for your welfare & happiness.
