Sir
In accordance with orders from your Hd Qrs I have arrested A.G. Milsted and having sufficient evidence to prove that the sum of $356.00 Dollars was taken from Anny Milsted the colored woman whom A.G. Milsteds father lived with and recognized as his wife and A.G. Milsted refusing to refund the same to her in accordance with instructions from Bvt Maj Gen Kiddoo. I have turned him over to the Comd Officer of this Post for safe keeping until I receive further instructions.

The circumstances are fully set forth in the accompanying evidence.

The money was taken from this woman by a warrant issued from the County Court of Cameron County and turned over to A.G. Milsted, he being administrator of the estate of his late father. I feel perfectly satisfied that this woman could not get justice done her in the civil courts at this place for the following reasons

1st The present judge of this county court has been counselor for A.G. Milsted and was the one that was instrumental in having the warrant issued for the seizure of this womas property

2d The Judge of this district court has resigned
