Christmas Wishes

Oh, Christmas is a time of joy,
Of sharing thoughts of love,
Of gratitude for family
And blessings from above.
A time to recall memories
Of friends we've always known,
Express our thanks for newfound friends
Whose love we've just been shown.
I wish for you at Christmastime
The gifts of trust and peace.
May Christ's love dwell within your heart
And hope that will not cease!

Christmas

You can almost feel it's Christmas
By the magic in the air,
And the smiles of little children
As you meet them everywhere.
Once again store windows glisten,
There are snowflakes in the breeze,
And you find the same old vendor
At the corner selling trees.
In the evening by the firelight
Grandma tells us once again
Of the Star that led to Bethlehem
Guiding shepherds and Wise Men.
Thus we send our Christmas greetings
With a wish that is sincere
Good old-fashioned Merry Christmas,
And a happy, bright New Year.
