The Message of the Bells The Christmas bells are ringing In the church upon the hill; They echo through the valley And resound across the rills. They chime a wondrous message Of great prophecy fulfilled. The Christmas bells are ringing, They echo far and wide; They tell about the Christ Child Who was born this holy night. They peal a living message At this blessed Christmastide. Loise Pinkerton Fritz And suddenly there was a heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests." Luke 2:13-14 [[image]] 26 Christmas [[image]] It's mistletoe and holly, A world of joy and cheer, A Santa Claus so jolly, The best day of the year. The gifts all wrapped so brightly And bows of red and green, All sealed and tied so tightly, A lovely Christmas scene. It's candles in the windows, A wreath upon the door, The snowflakes softly falling, And, oh, so much, much more. A church all brightly lighted, The music on the air, The Christ Child and the manger A tree with tinsel fair. It's hearts all filled with loving, A faith and hope complete, A friendly special greeting For all the folks we meet.
